Week 9 Progress

Hey there, it’s Jack here with the ninth update to the Wizard Tower Game.

On this week, I decided to build out an inventory so that I could eventually link it with the items on the ground that the player picks up. Each black square represents an item, and the number on those squares represents how many of that item has been stacked on that inventory slot.

The main reason I built this simple inventory screen is so that I have a way to test that the items are being properly picked up when the player walks over them. Eventually, the same inventory will be used to test the ability to use items in various ways from inventory menu or toolbar.

Next time I plan to link the items and inventory together so I can properly test and add more features.
